Masala Chai

Our Masala Chai is a deeply warming blend rooted in our family recipe, crafted to honor the richness, comfort, and tradition of classic Indian chai. This grounded blend brings together Assam, Cardamom Pods, Cloves, Cassia Cinnamon, Fennel Seeds, Ginger, Black Pepper, Chaga Fruiting Body, Shatavari, and Rose Petals for a cup that is bold, aromatic, spiced, and beautifully layered.

At its foundation is Assam tea, known for its full-bodied character and robust depth, making it the perfect base for a traditional masala chai. Warming spices like cardamom, cloves, cassia cinnamon, ginger, fennel, and black pepper create the signature spice profile chai is loved for being a blend that is fragrant, invigorating, and deeply comforting. Rose petals add a soft floral note, while chaga fruiting body and shatavari bring an earthy, nourishing and medicinal herbal depth that makes this blend uniquely our own.

Chai has a long and beloved history in India, where spiced tea has been prepared and shared for generations as a daily ritual of hospitality, warmth, and connection. The word chai simply means “tea,” while masala means mixed or blended. Over time, households throughout India developed their own versions, often shaped by region, lineage, and personal taste. This blend, too, is based off of our enjoyed Masala Chai drink.
